Since he first immigrated to the US, New England has been Karim Nagi's home and artistic headquarters. But it's time for the next phase, as he prepares to relocate.
The show will feature Karim Nagi's signature performances, live music, and guest performances by Karim's students, colleagues, and supporters, including Kay Hardy Campbell, Shadia Tohme, Soumaya MaRose, Boujemaa Razgui, Origins Folkloric Dance Company, Natassia, Hadia, and more.
$10 in advance / $15 at the door (cash only)
Belly and Soul is a monthly event that celebrates all forms and styles of belly dance. Origins is honored to be performing in the January show. Our show includes the "Sudani", "Eiwa Aah", "Nubian", and "Women's Dance".

The Eve Tribal Belly Dance Company, of Central Massachusetts, is celebrating their 10th birthday this year. Origins is honored to perform at their birthday party! This event is a fundraiser to benefit Sweetpea For Animals: a nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue organization.

RAQTOBERFEST is Boston’s premier Tribal Fusion Belly Dance festival, created and produced by Urban Nomad Dance Co. This day-long festival will include a belly dance workshop by nationally acclaimed Tribal Fusion artist, Jenna Shear, as well as interactive Middle-Eastern, Balkan, North African, and Andalusian dance workshops by the most sought-after local presenters in these genres.
The YWCA Central Massachusetts will host its fourth annual Dance for Peace on Friday, September 27. All funds raised during this dance marathon benefit the YWCA’s BWR Program, the local domestic violence program in North Central Massachusetts.Origins will be performing a short set and demonstrating some folkloric moves!

Join Origins for a festive start to a summer weekend as we entertain attendees of Newburyport's Yankee Homecoming Festival! Origins will be joining musicians and other performers as part of the downtown entertainment on the Market Square Stage on Merrimac Street in Newburyport.
Origins is pleased to be performing at the 2013 Salem Arts Festival. The SAF - which runs June 7 - 9 - promotes the arts in downtown Salem through a collaborative festival for residents and visitors, providing opportunities to highlight the existing artist community and encourage general community participation in the arts.
Origins will be performing on Saturday, June 8 at 1:00 pm on the Fountain Stage.
